I've photographed 200+ babies in the last two years and bring 13 years of newborn, portrait, and product photography experience to every session. Postpartum is not the time to be packing a diaper bag and driving across Atlanta, so I bring the full setup to you: backdrops, lighting, wraps, and props, transformed into a proper newborn studio right in your living room or nursery. First-time moms are often nervous handing their baby to someone new, so I talk to your baby the whole session, check in with you before every change, and pause any time you want to hold your little one. Trust isn't assumed here, it's built moment by moment.

What to Expect


Sessions happen in your home, typically within the first two weeks of life when babies sleep deepest and pose easiest. I arrive with everything needed to set up a full newborn studio in a spare room, nursery, or living room, no need to tidy the whole house or leave your baby's own space. Plan for up to 4 hours; there's no rush, and we work at your baby's pace, with breaks for feeding and soothing built in. Wraps, headbands, and props are provided in warm, earthy tones (browns, beiges, neutrals); you're welcome to add a family heirloom or a sentimental piece.

FAQ

How soon after birth should we book a newborn session?

Ideally within the first 5–14 days, while babies are still sleepy and curl easily into poses. Book your date as soon as you know your due date; newborn slots fill quickly.

Do I need to prepare my home for the session?

Just one room with a bit of open floor space. I bring the backdrops, lighting, and props and handle the full setup and breakdown myself. No need to deep clean or rearrange furniture. Besides the fact that I don’t need a huge space, the baby needs to be fed as much as possible.

Why choose an in-home session over a studio?

You're days or weeks postpartum, and the last thing you need is a car ride with a newborn. Staying home keeps your baby in a familiar, comfortable environment and lets you rest before and after the session.

Do you photograph siblings and parents too?

Yes, sibling and parent portraits are part of most sessions. Let me know who you'd like included when we talk on the phone.

What areas do you serve outside Atlanta?

Marietta, Mableton, Austell, Lithia Springs, Villa Rica, Fairburn, Fayetteville, Douglasville, Powder Springs, Smyrna, and Peachtree City.

How do I choose between an album and framed artwork?

Most families choose based on how they want to relive the images day to day; an album for a private, intimate keepsake, or framed pieces for the wall. We'll go over both at your design consultation so you can decide with your full gallery in front of you.
