The Photographer Behind the Camera

I moved to the U.S. five years ago to study Art Direction, but photography found me long before that. I studied journalism and photography, trained in London and Argentina, and spent years photographing products, portraits, and people for a living before I ever held a newborn.

The Turning Point

I still get emotional at every reveal.

My first job in the U.S. was photographing newborns at the hospital. I cried at my first reveal session with people I'd just met, looking at their baby's first photos together. Thirteen years and 200+ babies later, I still get emotional at every reveal. I just try not to cry too much anymore.

All those years, as a photojournalist, a product photographer, a portrait photographer, taught me how to really see people, not just pose them. That's what you get now. I notice when something feels off, I explain what I'm doing before I do it, and I want you and your baby to feel cared for, not just photographed.

My Approach

Every session, I try to make each image look as good as it possibly can. If a hair needs smoothing or a shirt needs straightening, I'll say so, because details matter. That same attention carries into how I handle your baby: I let them set the pace, I keep safety non-negotiable, and I check in with you before every change so you're always comfortable with the direction.

I'm a mom too, which is part of why I call clients back after 5pm; that's when my own shift as a mom winds down. It's also why I understand what the first weeks with a newborn actually feel like, and why I built an in-home service around making that season easier, not harder.
